Digital & 3D Practice

Not many dental offices have a CT machine in office. Having a CT machine in office is very important to Dr. Lesh so that he can provide his patients with the convenience of not having to go elsewhere but it saves patient’s valuable time, money and this technology gives Dr Lesh the ability to provide the absolute best care to patients by allowing him to best prepare and plan for surgeries, giving pt’s the best possible outcomes.

  • COMMON USES OF A CONE BEAM CT

Having a detailed 3D image helps Dr Lesh with implant planning.

Cone beam CT scans can also be used after implants have been placed to monitor how the implant is integrating with the bone of the jaw. It provides more detail than a standard x-ray, and the 3D images can give us a better idea of how osseointegration is progressing.

CBCT imaging can be used to diagnose most mouth, sinus and jaw issues. It also helps us investigate problems when symptoms and regular X-ray’s are not helping us find root cause and solutions for you.

Additionally, CBCT scans are used for preparation of Root Canal Therapy/endodontics. Cone beam CT scans provide much higher resolution than other dental radiography modalities like bitewing or panoramic x-rays. This, in turn, improves treatment planning and results of procedures like root canals.

Cone beam CT imaging is commonly used to get a complete visualization of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) in patients with jaw pain. It is one of the best ways to get a high-resolution look at any changes in the bony structures in and around the jaw joint.

  • CAD/CAM Dental Technology

Intraoral scanners and CAD/CAM mills for digital impressions and single-visit dentistry.
The cad/cam technology is what we use to take impressions rather than gooey, messy traditional impression material for making molds of your teeth when fabricating you a new crown, bridge or even braces/clear aligners.
